To our WGTF, USGTF-Singapore and other USGTF affiliated Current and Future Members seeking membership in the Singapore area:
We are disappointed and initially reluctant to make such an announcement, however we can no longer passively stand by while our current and future USGTF and WGTF affiliated members continue to be deceived in Singapore.
Please be advised of illegal Golf Teachers Federation representation in the Singapore area. Tendy Tsai of (www.asiagtf.com) and Jason Tan of (www.amgtf.com) or anyone affiliated with Tendy and/or Jason are NOT authorized to promote, advertise, and certify golf teaching professionals under the Golf Teachers Federation name. The Golf Teachers Federation (GTF) name (USGTF and WGTF) is owned by Geoff Bryant, President of USGTF. The only authorized representative of the Singapore area for the GTF is Mr. Sammy Oh. He is the President of USGTF-Singapore.
Much to our dismay, Tendy and Jason continue to hurt current and future USGTF-Singapore members by unabashedly continuing to promote themselves as authorized representatives to operate under the Golf Teachers Federation name. They continue to spread deceit and empty promises to our current and future USGTF-Singapore members. Please understand if you certify under these false organizations you are not joining an affiliate to the United States Golf Teachers Federation, further you are also not joining our larger organization, World Golf Teachers Federation. Unfortunately, we will not be able to do anything for you once you have purchased their "services." We advise you to steer clear of these individuals.
To be very clear, Tendy Tsai was terminated as USGTF-Singapore Director on May 6, 2008 by Sammy Oh, USGTF-Singapore President. For repeated violations, he was subsequently terminated as a USGTF-Singapore and WGTF member on July 1, 2008 by Geoff Bryant, USGTF President. Therefore, Tendy is in no way affiliated with the Golf Teachers Federation as a member and representative any longer. Jason Tan is not a GTF member and has never been authorized to represent the GTF in Singapore.
We are looking into pursuing legal action against Tendy, Jason, and any others who misrepresent the GTF name. If you have any information about any of these parties you would like to share, please send to Jenny at kusgtf@gmail.com.
In order to become a USGTF-Singapore and WGTF member, please contact Jenny Oh at kusgtf@gmail.com. We are in the final stages of promoting our new USGTF-Singapore director. We are also working on building a live website for your convenience. In the interim, you may refer to the "Our Global Presence" page on Geoff Bryant's USGTF headquarters website for a quick verification of authorized representation.
We are very excited about the future of USGTF in Singapore. We also thank you for your continued support and patience during this time.
Sincere Regards,
Geoff Bryant
USGTF President
Sammy Oh
USGTF-Singapore President
